Abstracting
Cochran Abstract is one of only two state licensed certificate of authority holders who can prepare abstracts of title for all Grady County properties. Whether needed for a purchase or a refinance of property, we provide fast and accurate abstracting services. Typical turnaround time for abstracting is one to two days once we have the abstract in our office.
Closing Services
Cochran Closing has a staff of closing personnel with over 100 years combined experience. We handle both real estate sales transactions and refinances. We will order title work, prepare closing statements and title documents, and disburse all funds. It is our goal, as closing agent, to serve all parties involved and, hopefully, mediate any problems that may arise.
Title Insurance
As an agent for both American Security Title Insurance Company and Stewart Title, Cochran Abstract & Closing can issue title insurance policies for all properties and amounts. All title policies and endorsements are ALTA forms. From Mortgagee, Leasehold to Owners title policies our experienced staff can assist in all your title insurance needs.
Title Reports
Cochran Abstract provides fast and affordable title report services to those who do not need or require abstracting. Our title reports provide information including current ownership, mortgages, liens, judgments and property tax information on any property in Grady County.
Ownership Lists
Cochran Abstract offers ownership lists for rezoning and complying with municipal requirements. Our ownership lists will provide the information necessary for the mailing of notices to owners within a given radius of the subject property.
